VICTORIA SMITH
Victoria Smith is the founder of VSmith Media, established in April 2017, in Oakland, Tennessee the place she calls home.
Victoria started her career in advertising studying graphic design in college earning an Associates of Applied Science in Graphic Arts Technology for prepress and multimedia. Then went on to study communications and journalism where she would go to the next level with radio, television, and journalism. I served as the Ram Page advertising manager at Angelo State University, did a radio show for Ram Radio, and even produced a season of Ram TV to complete the full scope of journalism in 2005.
After exploring all these tools she started Texas Fight News Magazine to support her now husband in his MMA career. Together they produced 10 issues of the print magazine before moving back to Memphis in 2010 after our wedding. It was then that communications turned to a career in Marketing when she snagged a job for a regional pharmacy chain. There she would serve as the Media Distribution Manager for the print and radio portion of the marketing team. Victoria would also serve as the VP of Marketing Assistant , earning the opportunity to participate in leadership meetings to better understand the scope of the company vision for the brand. It was here she had the pleasure to work with Mike Bloom, former CEO of Family Dollar and participant in Undercover Boss. And because of my technical background in media, Victoria had to pleasure to be part of the committee which led the innovation for technological advancement in retail marketing.
Now Victoria serves small businesses with the same passion for innovation, growth, and success.
